Our lab member Gorkem Akyol has presented the paper, titled "Using Adaptive Signal Controllers for Pedestrian Green Time", he co-authored at the 17th International Conference on Computer Aided Systems Theory (EUROCAST2019) that is held on Feb. 17-22, 2019 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The paper presents an adaptive signal control approach for traffic signal optimization considering explicitly the pedestrian flow dynamics through a case study.
